3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Lou Trivino pitched the final two innings of Monday's win over the Angels to earn his 15th save of the season. Trivino did allow a run to score, however, it was only his second earned run since May 5 as he's been excellent in the closer role for the A's. Jake Diekman will pick up the occasional save as manager Bob Melvin likes to play the matchups with the lefty Diekman and the righty Trivino, but fantasy managers should prioritize Trivino who has gotten the bulk of the ninth-inning work this season.
