Lou Trivino Picks Up Relief Win On Wednesday
3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Lou Trivino allowed one unearned run and picked up the victory when the A's walked-off in the bottom of the tenth inning. Trivino was called on in the top of the tenth after Oakland tied the game off Padres closer Mark Melancon in the ninth. Trivino allowed the automatic runner on second to score on a base hit, but he limited the damage and was rewarded on the stat sheet with the win. Trivino has been a must-start reliever in fantasy this year as he's 17-for-19 in save chances with a 1.95 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP and 45 strikeouts in 50 2/3 innings.
