3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Lou Trivino was asked to take the ball in the ninth inning during Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Trivino tossed a scoreless ninth inning to help hold a two-run lead and record his fourth save of the season. The 30-year-old gave up a pair of hits, but was able to escape. He has struggled throughout a majority of the season, but should be asked to take on a bigger role with Dany Jimenez (shoulder) sidelined. There's not a ton of value in Trivino, but he could be worth a look for fantasy managers seeking closer help.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
