3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. joined in on the fun in Friday's 10-1 win over the Detroit Tigers, homering in the second inning. He later added a double and ended the game 2-for-5 with two RBI. Gurriel Jr. hasn't been himself through 52 games this season, slashing .257/.317/.372 with just three home runs and two stolen bases. He's been hot since the beginning of June, though, hitting .345 with four runs and four RBI in eight games. The 28-year-old started slow a season ago before heating up, so fantasy managers should stay patient and hold onto him in most leagues.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
