Gurriel Jr. is batting .264 with a .299 on-base percentage, 11 home runs, and a stolen base in 362 plate appearances for Toronto this season. Corey Dickerson is starting in left field instead on Wednesday against Mejia. The veteran is batting sixth. In 229 plate appearances this season, Dickerson is hitting .258 with a .319 on-base percentage two home runs, and two stolen bases.
