4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. launched his fourth homer of the season during the team’s 6-4 win over the Rays on Monday. His solo shot of Blake Snell in the fifth went for his only knock of the game as he finished the contest going 1-for-4 with two strikeouts. Gurriel has heated up at the plate with hits in eight of his last nine games and three long balls over his last five contests. The 26-year-old is up to a .263 BA with seven runs and 14 RBI, but he should start producing better counting stats batting in the middle of the Jays lineup.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
