Lourdes Gurriel Snaps Out Of Homer Drought
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Lourdes Gurriel was 2-for-5 with a solo homer and two runs scored in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Boston Red Sox. It was Gurriel's first home run since July 27. Gurriel is still only carrying a .206 average since his return from the disabled list on August 24. He has the talent to be a fantasy target in deeper league formats going into 2019, but he can be avoided for the rest of this season.
