3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox activated starting pitcher Lucas Giolito (abdomen) from the 10-day injured list on Sunday in advance of his scheduled start against the Minnesota Twins in the series finale. In corresponding moves, outfielder Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) was placed on the injured list and right-hander Ryan Burr (shoulder) was sent on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte. Giolito has been on the injured list since April 12 after he suffered an abdominal strain in his Opening Day start against the Detroit Tigers. The right-hander allowed just a hit with six strikeouts and four scoreless innings in his season debut, but he'll be a bit more risky in his first start back from the IL on Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
