Lucas Giolito Expects To Start Sunday
3 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Lucas Giolito (abdomen) said he expects to return on Sunday and start against the Minnesota Twins. Giolito threw a simulated game in Arizona on Tuesday and could be activated from the 10-day injured list in time to start on Sunday in the series finale. The 27-year-old went on the injured list on April 12 with a left abdominal strain, but he looks to be in good health now. Giolito only threw four innings in his season debut on April 8, so he's likely to have his pitch count limited on Sunday if he indeed returns from the injured list. Giolito can be an ace for fantasy managers when healthy, but he'll be extra risky without much upside in his return from injury this weekend.
