2 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Lucas Giolito's disappointing season got even worse Thursday when he allowed seven runs over three innings during the eventual 21-5 loss to the Houston Astros. He surrendered eight hits and one walk while striking out five, and it's now the sixth time he's given up five earned runs or more in a start. Giolito does have nine wins and 132 strikeouts over 116.1 innings, but he's sporting an ugly 5.34 ERA, 1.53 WHIP, and 1.47 HR/9 over 22 starts. Giolito still has the talent, but fantasy managers should leave him on the bench until he figures things out.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
