4 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Lucas Giolito looked like his vintage self in Wednesday's victory versus the Minnesota Twins. Giolito had been in a mini slump, but broke out of it in a big way Wednesday afternoon. Giolito worked eight frames and allowed two hits, one run, three walks and struck out 11. The only run allowed was a solo home run to Nelson Cruz in the bottom of the third inning. Giolito is now 3-4 with a 4.35 ERA on the season. The right-hander will look to keep going strong versus the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
