Lucas Giolito Takes Hard-Luck No-Decision
3 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Lucas Giolito was forced to take a no-decision Friday despite tossing a gem against the Tampa Bay Rays. Giolito allowed two runs on three hits and no walks while striking out eight over seven innings, but relief pitcher Aaron Bummer relinquished the lead in the eighth inning. Giolito has now posted five quality starts in his last seven outings, showing off how dominating he can be but also how frustrating, as in his other two starts he wasn't able to pitch past the fourth inning. Still, he registers as a very solid fantasy option with a 3.77 ERA, a 1.10 WHIP, and 169 strikeouts in 148 innings.
