4 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Lucas Giolito struck out 10 on Tuesday versus the Seattle Mariners. Giolito also allowed four hits, three runs and one walk on the evening. Giolito looked like his vintage self in the first two innings, but was hurt with bad defense by second baseman Nick Madrigal and Zack Collins in the inning. Giolito would allow all three of his runs in the bottom of the third and settled down until he was pulled after getting one in the bottom of sixth. Giolito now has 18 K's on 10 2/3 and has become a real threat for the Cy Young award in 2021. Giolito should be started every time out and will have a two-start week coming up with matchups versus the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
