3 years agoCincinnati Reds relief pitcher Lucas Sims (elbow) will begin his rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Louisville, according to Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer. Sims has been sidelined since late June with a right elbow sprain, but before then he was becoming one of the top relievers in Cincinnati's bullpen, having gone 4-0 with six saves, a 3.86 ERA, 1.393 WHIP and 35.4 percent strikeout rate over his last 18 2/3 innings of work.
