4 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Luis Alexander Basabe (wrist) will miss six to eight weeks with a wrist sprain, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Basabe suffered the injury in Tuesday's game while diving for a ball in right field. He was only 1-for-9 this spring, but he did show some speed with two steals in seven games. When healthy, Basabe is a 15-home run, 15-steal threat, but the Giants have their outfield pretty well set at the moment and have top outfield prospect Heliot Ramos waiting in the wings to take a spot.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
