4 years agoMinnesota Twins utility player Luis Arraez (concussion) is in concussion protocol as a result of a collision in Monday's game, according to Phil Miller of the Star Tribune. Arraez was complaining of a headache and neck soreness following a collision with catcher Jose Trevino while scoring on an RBI double in the third inning. He remained in the game after the collision, but was replaced on defense in the top of the seventh inning. Miller adds that Arraez going through concussion protocol does not necessarily mean he will end up on the concussion injured list, but he will have to be cleared by a doctor before he can return. Through 24 games this year, Arraez is slashing .289/.400/.373 with one home run, 11 RBI and 14 runs scored.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
