Luis Castillo Allows Four Runs In Loss To Cardinals
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo took a no-decision in a 6-4 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday. Castillo allowed four runs over seven innings while striking out five and walking one. When he departed, the game was deadlocked at 4-4 but reliever Lucas Sims allowed two runs to score in the eighth, giving the Cardinals the win. Castillo now has a 7-15 record, 4.24 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 171 strikeouts in 170 innings of work. Castillo will have a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers next time out.
