Luis Castillo Gives Up Three Runs in Loss
5 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo allowed three runs over seven innings in an 8-1 loss to the New York Mets on Friday. Castillo struck out seven and walked three on the way to taking the loss. He got through five scoreless innings before allowing two homers over his final two innings of work. Castillo's record drops to 15-7 with a 3.25 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 218 strikeouts in 185 2/3 innings of work. Castillo has been an ace this season, both in real life and fantasy. He will make his final start of 2019 against the Milwaukee Brewers.
