Luis Castillo Picks Up Sixth Win
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo turned in a strong outing in a 6-5 win over the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday. Castillo allowed just one run over six innings while striking out seven and walking one. He picked up the win, improving his record to 6-10, to go along with a 4.09 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and 128 strikeouts over 127 2/3 innings of work. Castillo got off to a slow start this season but he has a 2.59 ERA and 99 strikeouts over his past 15 starts, spanning 90 1/3 innings of work. He will face off against the Cleveland Indians next time through the rotation.
