3 years agoCincinnati Reds pitcher Luis Castillo (shoulder) is scheduled to begin a minor-league rehab assignment Sunday. He threw 35 pitches during a live batting practice session Tuesday and will be limited to about 50 pitches in Sunday's rehab start. The 29-year-old is on the injured list to begin the season with right shoulder soreness and is expected to make two rehab starts before being activated. He posted a 3.98 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 192 K's in 187 2/3 innings over 33 starts in 2021. Castillo is on track to return to Reds rotation in early May.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
