3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo was excellent in a 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday. Castillo threw 6 1/3 scoreless innings while striking out 10 on the way to picking up his eighth win of the season. The veteran right-hander continues to put memories of his slow start to the season in the rearview mirror as he has a 2.78 ERA over his last seven starts. Overall, Castillo has an 8-15 record, 4.08 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 181 strikeouts over 176 1/3 innings of work. He is lined up to face off against the Pittsburgh Pirates next time out.--Matt T - RotoBaller
