4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo tossed a complete game gem in a 3-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday. Castillo allowed just one run on three hits while striking out six and walking three. The win improves Castillo's record to 2-5 with a 3.44 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 66 strikeouts in 52 1/3 innings of work. Castillo hasn't quite reached expectations this season for fantasy gamers as many drafted him to be the SP1 and ace of their fantasy rotations but Friday's start was certainly a step in the right direction. Castillo will look to build on his excellent outing when he takes on the Pittsburgh Pirates next week.--Matt T - RotoBaller
