Luis Castillo Strikes Out Six Nationals On Thursday
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo allowed two runs over six innings in a 3-2 loss to the Washington Nationals on Thursday. Castillo struck out six and walked three in the outing. The veteran right-hander was charged with the loss, dropping his record to 8-16, to go along with a 4.05 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 187 strikeouts over 182 1/3 innings of work. Provided nothing changes, Castillo is lined up to make his final start of the regular season against the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday.
