5 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo struggled in a 6-5 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Castillo allowed six runs (four earned) in 3 2/3 innings of work. He struck out six and walked five in the loss. The young right-hander was wild in this one, throwing just 50 of 96 pitches for strikes while doing himself no favors with the five free passes. Castillo's record drops to 7-2 with a 2.56 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 103 strikeouts in 87 2/3 innings of work. Despite the rough outing, Castillo remains a quality starting pitcher in fantasy leagues.--Matt T - RotoBaller
