Luis Castillo Takes 13th Loss
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo took a hard-luck loss in his start against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. Castillo allowed two runs over 6 1/3 innings while striking out six and walking two. The veteran hurler cruised through the first six innings of the game, allowing just one run, before struggling a bit in the seventh, hitting a batter with a pitch and then allowing a single and a ground-rule double. Castillo now has a 7-13 record, 4.29 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 151 strikeouts in 151 innings of work. He has a 2.82 ERA over his past 15 starts.
