3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo deserved a better fate than earning his 15th loss on Sunday. Castillo allowed three runs (one earned) over six innings in a 4-1 loss to the Detroit Tigers. He struck out seven and walked two while giving up just four hits to the Detroit batters. Castillo has run into some tough luck of late as he's allowed just six total runs over his past three starts but has a 0-3 record over that span. Overall, Castillo has a 7-15 record, 4.20 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 166 strikeouts over 163 innings of work. He will look to break the losing streak when he faces the St. Louis Cardinals next time out.--Matt T - RotoBaller
