7 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Luis Castillo performed well yet again on Thursday against the Pirates, picking up his fourth win of the season. Castillo pitched six innings, giving up two runs on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts. The young hurler has been dominant in his last five starts, going 3-1 with a 2.83 ERA, 31 strikeouts, and nine walks in 28 2/3 innings pitched. Castillo is slated for a favorable matchup next Tuesday at the Diamondbacks, so look for his strong numbers to continue.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
