Luis Castillo Turns In Decent Start Saturday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Luis Castillo put forth an average effort in Saturday's 8-2 win against the Cardinals. Castillo allowed two runs on five hits (including a solo home run) and no walks with two strikeouts in five innings. The 25-year-old has yet to get things going this season, as he is now 5-8 with a 5.49 ERA in 103 1/3 IP. Fantasy owners in 10-team leagues or shallower can drop Castillo at this point and owners in 12-team leagues or deeper can only hope that Castillo will rest up over the All-Star break and figure things out.
