Luis Castillo Turns In Quality Start
7 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo turned in a quality start against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. Castillo pitched six innings of two-run ball, striking out seven and scattering nine hits. He wound up taking the hard-luck loss as his offense only gave him one run of support. Things have not gone as planned for Castillo this season, as he's struggled to pitch consistently and has also had issues with his arm angle. The Thursday outing goes down as Castillo's second quality start of the season in seven starts. He will take a 1-4 record, 7.01 ERA and a 31/14 K/BB ratio into his next start.
