3 years agoWashington Nationals infielder Luis Garcia flashed some extra-base power in a strong game Thursday, going 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, and two runs scored against the Atlanta Braves. Garcia is starting to put it together at the plate, slashing .321/.321/.643 over his past seven games, though his plate discipline could stand to improve with just nine walks in 173 plate appearances this season.
