4 years agoHouston Astros starter Luis Garcia pitched six quality innings, allowing only one run and striking out eight in the team's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday. Garcia (5-3) allowed only three hits and now has won each of his last five starts. The 24-year-old was thrust into the rotation due to injuries and the right-hander has delivered. During his current winning streak, Garcia has allowed only 19 hits while striking out 33 batters over his last 29 innings pitched. Garcia has secured a spot in the rotation for the time being and should draw plenty of attention off the waiver wire in most fantasy formats heading into next week.--Joey C - RotoBaller
