He is dealing with lower back tightness, so he'll sit this game out against the Atlanta Braves. This issue is believed to be minor, so Gonzalez isn't expected to need a trip to the injured list. Evan Longoria will take his spot in the lineup for Wednesday's outing against right-hander Charlie Morton.
