Luis Patino Fans Five In Saturday’s Win
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Luis Patino (3-3) allowed two earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five across six innings during Saturday's 8-4 win over the Chicago White Sox. He picked up his third win of the season. The 21-year-old limited the White Sox two runs, surrendering a solo shot to catcher Seby Zavala and an RBI single to outfielder Eloy Jimenez. Patino threw 94 pitches, landing 59 for strikes. The rookie pitcher has allowed three earned runs or less in four of his last five starts. He owns a 4.53 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 53 strikeouts over 51 2/3 innings in 2021. Patino will look to keep things rolling in Saturday's start against the Baltimore Orioles. Fantasy managers can use Patino as a streamer as the Rays have won their last nine games against Baltimore.
