3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Luis Patino allowed one hit and one walk while striking out one over three innings during Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. He did not factor into the decision. The 21-year-old had his start pushed up from Friday to Wednesday but was removed from the game after just 37 pitches. Patino was making this start on regular rest. He owns a 4.54 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and a 73:29 K: BB across 73 1/3 innings in 2021. Patino will look to go deeper into the game in his next start against the Houston Astros early next week.
