3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Luis Patino allowed four earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four across six innings during Friday's 7-4 win over the Detroit Tigers. He surrendered a leadoff home run to the Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo. The Tigers tacked on three more runs, and he was removed from the game after 80 pitches. Patino has struggled in September, posting a 6.92 ERA, 1.77 WHIP, and an 11:6 K: BB across 13 innings in the month. Despite his recent struggles, the 21-year-old can be used as a streamer in deep-leagues in a favorable matchup next week against the Miami Marlins.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
