4 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder Luis Rengifo (hamstring) was activated off the 10-day Injured List on Tuesday. It's good timing for the 23-year-old and the Angels, considering starting shortstop Andrelton Simmons (ankle) rolled his ankle while trying to beat out a throw to first base in yesterday's game. Rengifo will be on the bench Tuesday but could be in line for playing time if the injury to Simmons is serious. He batted just .238 in 108 games as a rookie and should only be used as emergency infield depth in deep leagues.--Tim Capurso
