Luis Robert Absent Against Royals
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (groin) is out of the starting lineup yet again on Thursday against the Kansas City Royals. This will be the sixth straight game that Robert has been on the sidelines due to groin discomfort. The White Sox aren't going to rush Robert back onto the field, but as of now, it looks like he'll avoid a trip to the injured list. AJ Pollock will get the start in center field and will hit seventh in the order against Royals right-hander Brad Keller on Thursday. Robert was just 9-for-44 with two home runs and three RBI in 11 games before his injury, but he also stole five bases and is a must-start in fantasy when he's in Chicago's lineup. Pollock has just four hits in his first 20 plate appearances for the Pale Hose, and he's still looking for his first home run.
