Luis Robert Away From The Team
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (wrist) has left the team for the birth of his first child, according to interim manager Miguel Cairo. Robert missed his fifth straight game on Thursday and has been sidelined with a sore left wrist, but now he could be away from the team for another couple days while on paternity leave. Cairo doesn't expect the 25-year-old to go on the paternity list, though, so perhaps he'll return to the starting lineup at some point this weekend against the Minnesota Twins. Robert has been a must-start for fantasy managers when healthy in 2022, as he's slashing .300/.336/.451 with 12 home runs, 56 RBI, 54 runs scored and 11 stolen bases in 378 plate appearances over 90 games played.
