3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (hip) is swinging a hot bat in Triple-A and nearing a return to the majors, according to the Charlotte Observer. The center fielder, who tore his right hip flexor in May, moved to Triple-A Charlotte last week and was 6-for-22 there over his first five games. Outfield mate Eloy Jimenez recently made his season debut for the Pale Hose, and this impressive team is nearing full strength to close out the regular season. In 95 at-bats before his injury, Robert was hitting .316/.359/.463 with a homer, eight RBI and four stolen bases. The 24-year-old has exciting power-speed upside and should be rostered in all leagues, especially in this stacked White Sox offense.--Josh Friedman
