Luis Robert Out Again Thursday
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (wrist) remains out of the starting lineup on Thursday against the Houston Astros. Robert received a cortisone injection for his sprained left wrist on Wednesday, but the White Sox remain adamant that he won't need a trip to the injured list. However, it remains to be seen if the 25-year-old will be able to return for a weekend series against the Cleveland Guardians that begins on Friday. With Robert out another game, AJ Pollock will man center field and bat leadoff on Thursday against Astros right-hander Luis Garcia. Pollock gains some DFS intrigue out of the leadoff spot, and he's also gone 12-for-42 (.286) with two home runs, four RBI and six runs scored in 12 games in the last 14 days.
