Luis Robert Out Of The Lineup Against Guardians
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (hand) is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Cleveland Guardians. Robert went 1-for-8 with three strikeouts in two games this week after returning from ongoing hand/wrist issues on Tuesday. He's played in just four games since Aug. 31 because of his injuries and is limping to the finish line in September. The 25-year-old has played well when healthy this year, but he's been in and out of the lineup, making him a frustrating fantasy commodity. Overall, he's batting .291/.327/.437 with 12 homers, 56 RBI, 54 runs scored and 11 stolen bases in 371 at-bats. AJ Pollock is getting the start in center field and is batting seventh on Thursday against Guardians right-hander Hunter Gaddis.
