Luis Robert Remains Out Friday
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (wrist) remains out of the starting lineup on Friday against the Cleveland Guardians. Robert is missing his seventh straight game with a sprained left wrist that was suffered on Aug. 12. He received a cortisone injection in his wrist this week, although the White Sox don't expect him to need an injured list stint. However, at this point it's fair to wonder if the 25-year-old will be able to return this weekend. AJ Pollock is getting another start in center field and is batting leadoff on Friday against Guardians right-hander Triston McKenzie. Pollock has added DFS intrigue out of the leadoff spot and has been better in August, hitting .264 (14-for-53) with two home runs, five RBI and six runs scored in 16 games played.
