Luis Robert Scores A Pair Of Runs And Steals A Base
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert went 1-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in a 10-1 over the Detroit Tigers on Sunday. Robert singled, swiped a bag, and scored a run in his first plate appearance of the day. He later reached base via a force out and came around to score off a Jose Abreu double. The 24-year-old dynamo is off to a great start in the early going, slashing .385/.385/.462 with three runs scored, an RBI, and two stolen bases. He swiped just six bags over 68 games last season so it's nice to see him rack up two thefts so early in 2022. The sky is the limit for Robert as long as he can remain healthy.
