4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (elbow) has been playing catch and is expected to throw off of a mound within the next few weeks. Severino missed the entire 2020 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in February, and the 26-year-old appears to be on track for his original target return date sometime in June or July of this season. Severino is an ace when healthy with a 3.13 ERA and 29% strikeout rate since the start of 2017, and fantasy managers should be encouraged by his recent progress.--Sam Chinitz
