2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino was dominant on Saturday against the Detroit Tigers, throwing seven innings of shutout ball while striking out ten and allowing only two baserunners. Severino had everything working, generating multiple whiffs on each of his 4-seam, slider, changeup, and cutter. He posted a 34% CSW% and generated an astounding 20 whiffs on 92 pitches. With this effort, Severino lowers his ERA to 2.95. He has been terrific in his return from Tommy John surgery, and should be in your lineup next week in a nice matchup against the Chicago Cubs.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
