Luis Severino Dealing With General Arm Soreness
3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino is dealing with general arm soreness, according to manager Aaron Boone. Severino will throw a bullpen session on Wednesday instead of his scheduled Grapefruit League start. The right-hander's next spring start will be pushed back to Saturday against the Atlanta Braves. The 28-year-old hopefully will be able to work through it, but it's something worth watching for a pitcher like Severino with a history of arm issues. Since the start of the 2019 season, Severino has thrown only 18 innings in the big leagues due to injuries, making him a high-risk, high-reward fantasy starter on draft day.
