Luis Severino Exits Wednesday's Start With Shoulder Tightness
2 years agoNew York Yankees pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder) was removed from Wednesday's start against the Cincinnati Reds with shoulder tightness. He will undergo an MRI on Thursday. The 28-year-old allowed four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out one across two innings. He surrounded three long balls before exiting with an injury. The Yankees' right-hander is considered day-to-day, and the extent of Severino's injury will be known once the MRI results are in. Severino has been solid this season, posting a 3.45 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 95 strikeouts across 86 innings. Stay tuned.
