Luis Severino Throws Live BP On Tuesday
3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder, groin) threw a live batting practice session on Tuesday, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reported. The 27-year-old right-hander had a setback in his rehab from Tommy John surgery when he sustained a groin injury in June. Severino posted a 3.39 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 220 strikeouts over 191 1/3 innings pitched in his last full season. Fantasy managers should be on the lookout for Severino to come back healthy down the stretch, although you may want to temper expectations to close out the regular season.
