2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (lat) said he'll make his next minor league rehab start for Double-A Somerset on Wednesday. It will be his second rehab start after he threw two scoreless innings with three strikeouts and no walks for Single-A Tampa last Thursday. Barring any setbacks after Wednesday's rehab outing, Severino is expected to rejoin the Yankees starting rotation. The 28-year-old right-hander has pitched in the big leagues since July 13, so he's likely to be on an innings cap in his first game back, making him more risky in fantasy circles. Before his injury, he was 5-3 with a 3.45 ERA (4.03 FIP), a 1.07 WHIP, 95 strikeouts and 25 walks in 86 innings over 16 starts. Severino deserves to be rostered in all leagues, but he won't have much time to make a significant impact for fantasy managers the rest of the way.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
