5 years agoNew York Yankees ace Luis Severino (shoulder) is long tossing and will throw a bullpen session early next week. The 25-year-old was placed on the injured list at the beginning of the season with a right shoulder injury and isn't expected to return until May. As long as the right-hander doesn't have any setbacks, this timetable appears to be accurate, but the Yankees will be sure to proceed with caution with their young pitcher. Severino had a career year in 2018, winning 19 games with a 3.39 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 191 1/3 innings and should return to SP1 form when he retakes the mound for the pinstripes.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
